How to care for your Pewter Flatware & Tableware

Vagabond House pewter Flatware and Tableware is dishwasher safe. When using a dishwasher, please use the washing and drying settings with the lowest heat settings.  Neither is to exceed 135 F.  We recommend liquid dishwasher soap.

How to care for your Stemware

Vagabond House Stemware should only be washed by hand and should not be pre-soaked in hot water as a prelude to hand washing. Because accidents can happen, Vagabond House has an economical replacement program for your Stemware, barware and tableware.

How to care for your Pewter

Vagabond pewter will tarnish very slowly and requires little maintenance.  To clean your pewter after use, hand wash in warm water using liquid dish soap.  Dry the pewter completely in order to prevent the water droplets from spotting the pewter. If you wish to polish your pewter, most metal polishes can be used, (please read the instructions carefully before you purchase).  Because pewter is a soft metal, mildly abrasive metal polishing creams can buff out scratches and bring luster back to a frequently used piece.
